Global Engineering and Management (M. Sc.)

Digitalisation & Innovation in Global Business

How do you create value in the age of digitalisation and globalisation?

The Master’s programme in Global Engineering and Management prepares you for challenging roles at the intersection of technology, digitalisation and international management. The modules cover the entire value chain – from procurement through research and development to production, sales and marketing. There is a particular focus on digital transformation: connected products, software-driven services, smart factories, modern logistics solutions and digital customer interfaces are now shaping numerous industries in the global marketplace.

This English-taught Master’s programme is delivered entirely online, offering a high degree of flexibility – ideal for working professionals and internationally-minded students. The qualification opens up a wide range of career prospects in international companies, consultancy firms or technology-focused start-ups.

Admission and application

Admission requirements

  • Bachelor degree (210 ECTS) in the field of engineering, technology (incl. information technology), natural sciences,
    economics or management
  • At least one year of work experience after completion of undergraduate studies
  • B2-level English proficiency
  • Admission requirements with a Bachelor degree with less than 210 ECTS: If you have obtained a Bachelor degree with only 180 ECTS there is a possibility to substitute the missing 30 ECTS credit points with qualified work experience, gained after your first academic degree

The application for this degree programme takes place online.

All relevant information about the application process and documents is provided there. Once your application has been submitted, you can check your applicant status.

Each year, the application period for the summer semesters starts November 15, the application period for the winter semesters starts May 2.

University entrance qualification acquired abroad

If the higher education entrance qualification was acquired abroad, a preliminary examination of the higher education entrance qualification by uni-assist is required.

Please note that the processing time of uni-assist can take 4 to 6 weeks.
