Unfallbegutachtung (Zertifikat)

The certificate in accident assessment offers you a sound and practical qualification in an exciting and responsible specialist field. You will learn how to prepare meaningful expert reports and present them convincingly in court - with the necessary professional confidence and rhetorical skills. A special focus is placed on understanding the biomechanical principles and the development of injuries. This knowledge will enable you to reconstruct accidents realistically, analyse causes and present correlations in a scientifically sound manner. In addition, you will acquire comprehensive skills in documenting and analysing accidents - from precise data collection to clearly structured evaluation.

The certificate is an integral part of the part-time master programme in Accident Analysis and is fully creditable.

In the Accident Assessment certificate you will learn

  • Prepare expert reports and present them convincingly in court
  • Understand the basics of Biomechanics and the development of injuries

Admission and application
  • Proof of successful completion of an academic study programme in Engineering Sciences, Natural Sciences, Technology or Computer Science at a German university or a comparable degree with at least 210 ECTS credit points or equivalent or an equivalent successful domestic or foreign degree.
  • Proof of at least one year of relevant, qualified professional experience after graduation.
