Hydrogen mobility

We are researching safe, efficient and cost-effective hydrogen systems for vehicles and infrastructure. Our focus is on components and complete systems across the entire energy chain – from storage and refuelling to use in fuel cells and hydrogen internal combustion engines.

Simulation of innovative propulsion systems

We develop and utilise simulation methods for the design and optimisation of electrified, hybrid and hydrogen-based propulsion systems. Our work focuses on modelling, co-simulation, digital twins, virtual validation and the data-driven optimisation of energy and thermal management.

BOS emergency vehicles

We are researching sustainable emergency vehicles for public authorities and organisations responsible for security. Our focus is on robust propulsion systems, energy supply and specialised technology, as well as range, thermal management, reliability and a charging and refuelling infrastructure tailored to specific needs.
