Why I chose the degree programme at THI:

I chose Data Science because it is an interesting, diverse and practice-oriented degree programme with future relevance.

Through the minor subjects in the fields of technology and economics, you gain important knowledge in the application areas in addition to the core content of data science. I came to the THI through my dual study programme with Siemens Healthineers.

My tip for study orientation:

Do a lot of research on the internet and try to narrow down your choice of degree programmes. It is also very helpful to talk to people who are already studying what you are interested in.

Contents of my degree programme:

At the beginning of the degree programme, you learn the basics of mathematics, statistics and computer science. From the 3rd semester onwards, you deepen your knowledge with subjects such as Applied Machine Learning, Data Engineering, Practical Deep Learning, Optimisation, etc. In addition, there are also compulsory elective modules in which you can choose certain courses yourself and minor subjects from technology and business also supplement the semester content.

Every semester, our degree programme organises a Data Science Vernissage, where all the professors and students can come together and exchange ideas.
