The programme included participation in UFPR’s Pitch Day, insights into the work of the Centro de Estudos do Mar, and discussions on environmental and sustainability initiatives on Ilha do Mel. A particular focus was placed on renewable energy, especially the B2H2 project on green hydrogen production, which showcases innovative applications in sustainable mobility.
The visit concluded with a strategic planning meeting at the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná (PUCPR), where future cooperation from 2026 onwards was discussed. The outcomes of the visit will directly inform the further development of the sustainED project and THI’s international sustainability strategy.
The sustainED project is based at the Research and Transfer Centre for Sustainability Neuburg (ForTraNN) and the AWARE Center at THI. It is funded with €300,000 over a four-year period. THI would like to thank all Brazilian partner institutions for their hospitality and the constructive academic exchange.
